Protecting the existing apple trees and designing a garden that respected the historic house and surroundings was the heart of this Worcestershire project. The design used curves and simple, sustainable materials. A pond, a vegetable garden, and wildlife-friendly planting brought the design to life.

Heavy conifers obscured the stunning views across Worcester to the Malvern Hills. With these removed, and raised beds with mediterranean planting in the new courtyard, the whole garden can be enjoyed. With a hot tub, garden bar, and plenty of seating, the garden is an amazing entertaining space all year round.

A steeply sloping, narrow garden. The design used cures to widen out the space, and generous steps to enable easy access up the slope. A wildlife-friendly pond now attracts a multitude of birds and pollinators. The lawn on clay soil just about survived the summer drought!
